Biodiversity Week Sunset Tide Pooling!

Join a guided tide pool exploration to celebrate California Biodiversity Week! Learn about MacKerricher State Park's Marine Protected Area while searching for sea stars, handling hermit crabs, checking out chitons, and marveling at mollusks. 

The tour will cover uneven and slippery terrain; closed-toe shoes and sun protection are recommended.

The tour begins at the bottom of the stairs off of the Laguna Point boardwalk in MacKerricher State Park. 

Bathrooms are available in this area (no running water).

This program is free and open to the public. 

Location: MacKerricher State Park, Laguna Point Tide Pools (bottom of the boardwalk stairs)
