RSVP REQUIRED: This New Year's Day, join volunteer Mario Abreu, local Naturalist/Mycologist, for this free morning event, including a beginners' introduction to mushroom identification and a guided mushroom walk. Pre-registration is mandatory for this ages 12+ hike, and it is limited to 20 people, first-come, first-served. Day-use fees for Van Damme State Park will be covered by MendoParks. The length of the hike is approximately 2 hrs. Dress warmly and be prepared for inclement weather. Steady rain cancels. Please leave your canine friends at home.
