A California State Parks Week Event! (https://castateparksweek.org/)
Meet our team of staff and volunteers at mile marker 10.77 to receive your tools, focus area, and safety briefing at 10:00 AM.
Help to care for our shared lands by participating in a clean-up day at Navarro River Redwoods State Park. In this area, an important watershed feeds into the ocean, and an 11 mile stretch of the scenic Hwy 128 cuts through this redwood park. Unfortunately, it collects a large amount of garbage that may eventually make its way to the river and our ocean. Get to work in protecting this beautiful watershed. Tools, including gloves, buckets, litter pickers, and high visibility vests, will be provided at the check-in station. Due to the close proximity to a busy highway, this program is for ages 14 and up and no pets allowed. Let’s do our part in caring for this amazing ecosystem!
