Join California State Parks for Snapshot Cal Coast—a statewide coastal bioblitz that aims to make and share observations of plants, animals, and seaweeds along the coast of California using the iNaturalist app!
During this program, we will hike a portion of the headlands trail at Mendocino Headlands State Park, meeting at the Ford House Visitor Center and heading west for about 30 minutes before we turn around and head back. There will be time at the beginning of the program to download the iNaturalist app on your smartphone or tablet, or alternatively, you can take photos with a camera or other device and upload them to the iNaturalist website later.
